Program Director, Business Worker Training Program

Location: OAI Downtown Chicago 

Job Summary:

The Business + Worker Training Program Director is responsible for the overall strategic direction, oversight, and implementation of environmental health and safety workforce training programs within the BWT Department. The Director performs highly advanced planning, research, budgetary, technical and program administration of publicly and privately-funded programs. They direct and mentor staff; create and manage external partnerships; and evaluate program impact. The Director serves on the senior leadership team and aligns BWT initiatives to OAI’s mission and vision.

Senior Program Manager, High Bridge

Location: OAI Downtown Chicago 

Job Summary:

The Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in advancing OAI’s High Bridge programs, which focus on supporting GSI systems to alleviate local flooding for underserved communities.  The Senior Program Manager primarily leads, manages, and executes our Sharing Services to Maintain Green Infrastructure and Renewal program which provides GSI maintenance to Chicago Southland sites, training to local workers who are tasked with GSI maintenance responsibilities, and works collaboratively with government and non-profit partners. This position leads OAI’s work in developing an inclusive green infrastructure workforce in the Southland and across the Chicagoland region.

Employment Workforce Coach

Location: OAI Downtown Chicago 

Job Summary:

The Employment Workforce Coach (EWC) in the Pre-Employment Education and Training department expands OAI’s presence with Chicagoland employers with a focus on the environmental health and safety industry. The EWC coordinates activities related to employment and retention of students including employer engagement, identifying and securing jobs for OAI trainees, facilitating alumni activities, tracking employment data, and working with the entire team towards our trainees’ success.

Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: OAI Downtown Chicago 

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Director of Finance and processes all the components of accounts payable and payroll with the ability to assist in cash management and accounts receivable. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will also ensure timely monthly billing to various funders by preparing financial reports together with the necessary backup documentation.
