Why we’re coming together
For OAI, this
is deeply personal.
We have lost program participants to gun violence. The recent fatal shooting of a community violence intervention leader in the Southland has deepened that grief. These are people we knew, families forever changed, and voices our communities can never replace.
Beyond the Violence brings our community together to honor lives lost through action: supporting survivors and families while helping young people move toward a safer, more hopeful future.

The campaign runs during November and December, ending December 31, 2026. GivingTuesday is December 1. You can give before, on, or after GivingTuesday during the campaign.
Can I give a different amount?
Yes. Gifts of any amount are welcome. Choose a suggested amount or enter your own.
Can I give monthly?
Monthly gifts are welcome. Choose the monthly option when giving through OAI’s connected donation form.
How do I arrange a corporate or matching gift?
